Ranked #12 in the MaxPreps’ early 2023 ranking, Etiwanda joins the Classic with a 27-9 record as the CIF Southern Section D-II Champions. The Eagles return almost their entire roster including rising sophomore and reigning league MVP, two-way phenom Brady Ebel (son of Dodgers’ third-base coach Dino Ebel), the 16^th ranked player in his class (Perfect Game).

The pitching staff led by Ebel and MaxPreps All-State RHP Dylan Goff (’23), who compiled a 0.73 ERA across 86 innings, ending the 2022 season at 12-0 on the mound, and together went 18-0 with a 0.52 ERA. The Lineup also features a pair of budding stars in Area Code Game participant Anthony Huezo (’23, UC Irvine) and CIF All-Southern Section Austen Roellig (’23, LSU).
