Millennium Among Five New Teams Joining 2026 Arizona Lineup

Newport Beach, Calif., January 14, 2026 – The Boras Family Foundation today announced the 16 teams competing in the 2026 Boras Baseball Classic of Arizona, to be hosted March 18-21, 2026, at Corona del Sol and Chaparral High Schools.

The annual tournament set to begin March 18-21, 2026, features 16 teams from the Southwest to crown its ninth, Champion.

The young athletes arrive eager to face some of the top talent in the Nation and leave it all on the field, for their chance at the Title. More than that, seeing their excitement showcasing their skills to collegiate coaches and MLB scouts in hopes of living out their childhood dreams.”

Joining the Classic for the first-time are five teams including, Arizona based Millennium, home of Major Leaguers like Kyle Bradish and Josh Rojas, Arvada West (CO) with a 23-win team, nine-time Nevada State Champions Bishop Manogue (NV), Rocky Mountain (CO) returning eight All-League selections from a 20-win team, and Riverton (UT) returning two All-6A Utah selections from a 20-win season.

Teams returning to the Arizona Classic include 10-time Arizona State Champions and co-hosts Chaparral and 2025 Arizona 6A State Champions Corona del Sol, and 2025 Boras Classic Champions Queen Creek.

Casteel – 2025 Arizona 6A runner-up ranked #48, back-to-back 5A State Champions (2023 & 2024 seasons)

Hamilton – nine-time Arizona State Champions with eight MLB draftees in the last four years

Horizon – seven-time Arizona State Champions

Mesa Mountain View – returning six All-League selections

Red Mountain – returns Player of the Year, Kale Thompson and a pair of Arizona State commits in Carter Macaranas and Luke Ritchie.

Nevada Teams

Basic – Eight-time Nevada State Champions, ranked #13 by MaxPreps

Reno – 2025 Nevada 5A State Runner-up with a 27 consecutive season record of winning at least 20 games a season

New Mexico Team

La Cueva – 12-time New Mexico State Champions

The 16 high school teams participating in the Classic are guaranteed four games, with the championship game slated for March 21st, 6 p.m. at Chaparral High School.
