The Boras Baseball Classic began in California in 2013, providing a platform for the athletes of baseball to showcase their skill to Collegiate Coaches and MLB Scouts to further their careers in the sport. 

Expanding to Arizona in 2017 the Classic offers over 1,200 athletes a year, the opportunity to pursue their dream. With over 5,000 Division l athletes and over 500 MLB draftees including Paul Skenes (’23), Spencer Torkelson (’20) and back-to-back #1 overall draft picks Royce Lewis (’17) and Mickey Moniak (’16), the Classic looks to continue to grow each year.

Aiding in the development of the teams participating in the Classic each year, there is no financial strain placed on any team or player. The Foundation raises funds throughout the year to help offset the costs commonly associated with tournaments and we remain committed to each athlete. 

While the love of the game and competition are part of what keep athletes moving forward, at the forefront of the Foundation is education. The sport can be a strong source to open the door to higher education as well as professional opportunities.
