Boras Baseball Classic of California to be Cancelled
Newport Beach, CA, February 11, 2021 – The Boras Family Foundation today announced the cancellation of the 2021 California tournament.
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions based on county, district, and individual schools, the Foundation has made the decision not to host the Classic.
The Foundation is hopeful for a return in 2022 to celebrate our 10th anniversary of the California Classic. JSerra Catholic holds their 2019 title of the Southern Section Champions as well as Archbishop Mitty as the Northern Section Champions and will defend their respective titles in 2022.
The health and safety of the players, fans, volunteers and community at large is our first priority. Our thoughts are with those that have been affected by this outbreak.
