Derek Bain

Derek Bain, Sr. | 5'7 | 180lbs College Commit: Ohlone College Previous Season Stats: .379 BA, 7 2B's, 1 3B, 1 HR, 15 RBI Awards: 1st Team All Desert League- DH 2nd Team All Southern Nevada- DH Coaches Note: Derek is a versatile player, bringing great value being able to play outfield, firstbase, and catch. He’s a lefty bat with gap to gap power.

Koa Won

Koa Won, Jr. | 6'1 | 185lbs College Commit: Hawaii Coaches Note: Koa is yet another one that has an incredible work ethic. His defensive skill set is one of the best I've seen at the high school level. Koa calls a great game and controls the running game.

Tate Southisene

Tate Southisene, Jr. | 5'10 | 170lbs College Commit: USC Previous Season Stats: .417 BA, 41 R, 10 2B's, 7 HR, 37 RBI Awards: 1st Team All Desert League- IF, 1st Team All Southern Nevada- IF, 1st Team All State- IF Coaches Note: Tate is a great all around player, he not only has tremendous power but has the hit tool too. He will also log a good amount of innings for us with a low 90's fastball and plus curveball.

Tee Southisene

Tee Southisene, Sr. | 6'1 | 170lbs College Commit: USC Previous Season Stats: 9-1, 2.23 ERA, 59.2 IP, 53 K Awards: 1st Team All Desert League- P, 2nd Team All Southern Nevada- P Coaches Note: Tee will lead a solid core of arms for us this year. His fastball should be low 90's with a plus curveball and changeup, he also shows great command of all three pitches and will be our go to guy.

Ty Southisene, Sr. | 5'8| 170lbs College Commit: Tennessee Previous Season Stats: AVG: .451 R: 41 2B: 11 3B: 2 HR: 2 RBI: 22 SB: 15 Awards: 1st Team All Desert League-IF, 1st Team All Southern Nevada-IF, 1st Team All State-IF, 2024 Preseason MaxPreps All-American-UT, 2024 MaxPreps Best Player in Nevada-SS Coaches Note: Ty is arguably the best player to come through Basic Academy during my career here. He possesses a second to none work ethic that shows on the field in all facets of the game. His leadership skills along with his competitiveness make him the catalyst of Basic.
