Players to Watch

Josh Jannicelli, Jr. | 6’5” | 180 lbs College Commit: Santa Barbara Coaches Note: Athletic and smart, Josh uses a mix of four pitches to attack the zone, making it tough for hitters to square up the ball. Josh's attention to detail and work ethic have proven effective during his transition into the role of one of the top starters on our staff.
Jack Pezzolo, Jr.| 5’10” | 170 lbs College Commit: U.C. Davis Coaches Note: Another Cardinal who demands a great deal of himself. Jack is strong, quick and explosive and determined to succeed. Very good stuff from the left side, Jack will help anchor our starting rotation while covering ground in the outfield when he is not on the mound. Jack's ability to handle the bat well and use all fields finds himself at the top of our lineup.
Diego Boardman, Sr. | 6’1” | 180 lbs  College Commit: U.C. Riverside  Awards: 1st team All- League, NBL-OAK Previous season stats: .396 AVG, .444 OBP, .865 OPS, .421 SLG, 22 hits, 2 2B's, 10 Runs, 12 RBI's Coaches Note: Diego broke into the lineup last year right around the 2023 Boras and hasn't left since. Smooth and quick at Shortstop, Diego covers good ground and delivers the ball with a strong arm. At the plate, Diego drives the ball well to the opposite field and consistently has quality at-bats. Boardy will also take the mound for our team in relief situations. He commands the ball well and attacks the zone. Another great leader for our team who does so by example.
Jacob “Mo” Moreda, Sr. | 6’ | 190 lbs College Commit: Uncommitted  Coaches Note: Mo is a bulldog. He is tough and competitive in all aspects of his game. He is an infectious leader who loves to compete on the mound and at the plate. Jacob round's out our starting rotation and will play third when not on the mound. Mo will also anchor the middle of our lineup with his ability to use all fields.
